Music?

Alright, everyone knows that I'm in love with the Beatles. I mean, just look at my room:

Unfortunately, there are MANY other decent artists out there... most of whom I probably haven't even heard of. I'm getting a bit tired of fighting Pandora to find stuff that's both new to me and tolerable... so I've decided to appeal to the people.

I'm pretty sure my taste is fairly versatile- I like everything from the Cranberries to Pink to the Beatles to Regina Spektor and many things in between. But I feel like there's probably something I'm missing out on... If you think so, just let me know, ok? I'm always up for new music.

In return, I'd like to ask the question: have you ever heard of Wolfmother?

No? Here, click this. If you have any taste in music at all, you'll enjoy it. Trust me. No. Really. Click the link.

Current fave. :D

Until next time,
Caroline

  1. Hi Caroline. I know your mom through pleonast (and met her once at EH).

LOVE Wolfmother. So good! Check out a band called Trouble. They have been around for a very long time.

Psalm 9 is one of their early songs (from the 80s). It's more heavy...definitely influenced by Black Sabbath. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7E2j-Ut6iE&feature=related

Memory's Garden is a really good song that is not heavy like their earlier stuff. This song is from the 90s. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a new Wolfmother song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHM2oozNoSY

My husband is a walking musical encyclopedia...I'll see if he has any recommendations based on your Beatles and Wolfmother love. :)
