i'm going to start blogging again, i think. after all, life's too good not to share!
today began with a good bit of caroline-and-lucy playtime.
as you can see, little miss bug-eyes is quite a monkey when it comes to climbing on her cage. it makes me smile every time she climbs up the bars just to be closer to me when i'm going through my closet, and her little bug-eyed face just makes my day...
anyway, i feel sort of bad for her. she's been an only rat for the majority of her time here- the brief stint with penny came to an end a few days ago- and it breaks my heart that she has to be lonely whenever i'm at school.
i then went to the avenue for a scavenger
hunt with school people. it was rainy, but we had our own fun nonetheless, including an unnecessary trip katie, amanda, and i
took to the candy store.
the must-have accessory for the day? definitely brightly coloured umbrellas. katie, amanda, and i definitely had fun "combining our super umbrella power" in order to stay (somewhat) dry.
however, all of this fun and merriment was merely a preface to a very, very good thing that was to come later. katie and i stopped by her house so that i could meet eloise and belle, her two sweet rats, and then proceeded to petsmart...
where i met this lovely little girl, prudence. she was living in a box in the back, deemed "too ugly" for sale by the managers.
and so, i brought her home. she's very sweet, very calm, and i'm SO excited to have her!
well, i think that i ought to give my babies some attention, so i'll draw this to a close. i'll try to update again soon! much love,
